Here are those pictures I promised you of 417 with some background of the accident.

This accident occurred @ McCoy AFB , I have lost my logbook, but I believe this accident happened January or February 1965.  There were no injuries or fire; the aircraft was completely repaired. This crew was from A-flight. I don' t remember all of the crew, but this was Pappy Lund 's crew & I believe Capt. Grace was a/c.
